Gillette Venus Braun Silk Expert 3 IPL review
The Silk Expert 3 IPL is a good and affordable investment for smaller body areas. It’s so simple to use.with a skin tone sensor that matches the best of 3 IPL intensities to your skin tone. check out the newer version called Braun Pro 3 IPL.
Philips Lumea Essential review
The Philips Lumea Essential is Philips most affordable at-home IPL device. It’s a compact and more basic spec than the premium Prestige, but still with the same excellent build quality and materials. It’s easy to use, comfortable to hold and provides several years of whole body treatments. It’s a solid choice best suited to smaller body areas like underarms, bikini line, face and forearms but it’s too slow on large areas like legs.
Smoothskin Bare IPL review
This little cutie from Smoothskin is super simple and fast to use. That’s because it has one low IPL intensity level, so it’s straighforward with only the flash button to press. For darker skin tones up to type V, it’s a perfect match. The Smoothskin Bare+ IPL now replaces this older model.
Silk’n Flash & Go Express review
This device from Silk’n is affordable, no-frills, and mains-powered. It’s safe for light skin tones and works on dark hair. Simple, comfy and fast to use, you can zap your full body in around 30 minutes. But the bulky business-end is difficult to flash on your upper lip, shins and ankles.
Braun Silk Expert 5 IPL review
The Braun 5 IPL is a powerful, straightforward and simple to use device, with loads of flashes. It’s safe for light to dark skin and works on dark hair. It’s a solid choice, but be sure to check out the more recent Braun Pro 5 IPL for some worth-while improvements.
Veet Infini’Silk review
The Veet Infini’Silk is an older model mains-powered at-home IPL device. For more flashes and faster sessions try the Silk’n Infinity and Smoothskin Pure at-home IPL devices.
Silk’n Flash&Go Compact review
The Silk’n Flash&Go Compact (US & Canada) is a neat, handheld, mains-powered home IPL device. It’s an older model, since replaced by the Silk’n Flash&Go Express and the Silk’n Infinity. If you can find it, it’s a decent model worth considering but only for zapping small body areas.
Philips Lumea Advanced review
The Philips Lumea Advanced is a mains power, small and comfy gunshape. It’s safe for light skin tones and works on dark hair. It’s a good choice for your face and small body areas, but it takes a while to zap full legs.
Philips Lumea Comfort review
The Lumea Comfort is a compact, mains-powered, hand-held device. It’s an old Philips model and not readily available anymore. Instead, try the Silk’n Infinity, Smoothskin Bare+ or Lumea Prestige at-home IPLs.
